Where to Find the Best Hip Hop Trends

Hip hop fashion is one of the hottest styles in the world right now. What started as a blip on the map, has become a force to reckon with world wide. As with any style of those proportions, the trends in hip hop are ever changing. While a few brands and staples remain the same, there are constantly new brands coming out to make their mark and new styles of wearing particular clothes or accessories develop on a daily basis. With these constant changes, it can be hard to keep up. The best way to stay current is to keep in touch with the culture that the style of clothing was drawn from: hip hop.

Music is the founding and most integral aspect of hip culture. From hip hop music, you can tips on and clues to hip fashion. On most hip hop albums there are at least one or two songs that talk about clothes. A rapper or lyricist may mention a couple of brands of clothes, or a particular way of wearing a hat. If you take your style seriously, you will listen to these clues.

Since most of us are very visual people, it will also be helpful for you to watch music videos. Some of the best trends are spread this way (and some of the worst too). Rather than having to picture the item your particular artist is speaking about, you can actually see what it looks like at the same time as hearing about it. Combine your knowledge from the music and video, and you now know exactly what you want!

Another way to find new trends in hip is to pick up on of the several magazines that specialize in hip hop culture. These include Vibe, XXL, and The Source. Many of these magazines can also be found online, complete with style sections.

Once you have found out what the new trend is, now it is up to you (if it is not simply a new spin on something old) to find that new item. Whether it is a bag, or particular brand of sneakers, or just a brand you have never heard of, it has never been simpler to find not so common products. Just use your internet search engine to find results on virtually anything, and chances are, if the product is good, the designer will have their own website.

When it comes to purchasing your new find, jump from your search for the product to a search for discounts on that product, many times you'll find it for much cheaper than retail.

There it is; the process of keeping up with clothing trends in hip hop. And just think, from start to finish, it was not at all painful!
